Like Dhuhr, the prayer of Asr contains 4 rakat.

When to pray asr, and until when?

The prayer of Asr starts from the end of Dhuhr's time until before sunset. It is therefore between Dhuhr and Maghrib. It is makrouh (hateful) to pray a supererogatory prayer after al'asr for no good reason.

How to pray al Asr?

The Salat de Asr is identical to Dhuhr.
